"When the Music Fades" is a live acappella modern worship experience that captures the private element that worship without instruments can create. In a day of highly technical worship bands that feature everything from electric guitars to microphoned congas and tumbas, acappella worship is a refreshing change that features the God given instrument of the human voice and re-focuses worshipers on the simplicity of singing worship songs to God.
Many of the songs such as "My God Reigns," "You Are Worthy of My Praise," and "The Heart of Worship" are well known among the body of Christ and therefore are easy to sing without the lead of instrumentation. The voices on this CD sound both intimate and at times like a full-blown orchestra. There are beautiful examples of harmonies and melodies throughout this CD.
There are multiple uses this CD offers. First, it is an excellent resource for the worship leader who wants to focus his/her congregation on the simplicity of worship, leading one or more songs singing acappella. Second, this CD would make a great practice tool for singers on the team. And, third, this CD is great for singing along with in the car or for personal worship times.
