"Fire" is certainly the key word that describes this live worship service, and the center of the flame in this album is Jessie Rogers. Lindell Cooley, a firebrand himself who came to the forefront of the worship music genre during his time as worship leader at Brownsville Assembly of God, Pensacola, Florida, says of Jessie, "As a cynical teenager, while sitting in a revival service, the Spirit of God touched her and nothing has been the same for her since. Out of the fire of revival God birthed in Jessie the heart of a worshipper and the giftings of a psalmist." This album is full of the fire and intimacy that can only come from the heart of God. It is evident that Jessie has been in touch with that Heart.

You would be hard pressed to find a single song on the album that is not full of passionate yearning for God. Jessie prayerfully pleads for Him to Come Down on the fourth cut of the album. And listen to this phrase from Untame My Heart... "Untame my heart, cause me to run wild and free in the love you have for me." "Abandoned worship" would be a good phrase to describe the tenor of the entire album.

You won't find a song much more intimate than When I Find Him, obviously taken from Solomon's Song of Songs. More than any tune on the album, it epitomizes for me Jessie's heart for the One she loves. Musically and lyrically pleasing, it is a beautifully painted picture of a heart that is truly seeking God. "And when I find Him, I will not let go of Him."

This is a no-holds-barred, everything out in the open, God I Love YOU and always will, album. If that also describes who you are, you'll want to get this album. You, God and Jessie (via your CD player) will have some awesome times of worship together.
