Right from the beginning of the album you know what you are in for: over-the-top, fully surrendered, here I am, take it all, jumping up and down, deep from the heart praise and worship! Darlene Zschech, the Hillsong band, and 10,000 worshippers gathered for a night of vibrantly alive music and song offered to Jesus. If emotional worship makes you uncomfortable, this CD probably isn't for you. But if you love to add your voice with others who are excited about the God who created us, then you've hit the jackpot.

The up tempo songs have a very "young" sound and feel to them. That doesn't mean, though, that they are only for the young. I'm in the over-50 crowd, but still very young at heart. I felt totally connected to the songs and those singing them. I may not be able to be as "physical" as I used to in my worship (at least I can't last as long at it as I used to!), but the passion in my heart was burning as bright as ever as I experienced God through this latest offering from our down-under Hillsong family.

Hillsong has that amazing ability to go from the upbeat to the intimate without missing a beat. The passion is just as evident when things musically slow down. For Who You Are celebrates Him for his being, not his doing. There is just as much passion for His person as there is for His deeds. Jesus' sacrifice is celebrated through At The Cross.

"At the cross I bow my knee/Where Your blood was shed for me/There's no greater love than this/You have overcome the grave/Your glory fills the highest place/What can separate me now"

As usual, we get a great stylistic variety from Hillsong. The band, choir, and worshippers seem to move seamlessly from dynamic and explosive praise into tender and intimate worship. I Believe is a dynamic declaration of our faith and belief in Jesus. In Oceans Will Part, nature and nations celebrate the results of God's revealed presence among us.
