“Oh how you love me, Lord/ Undeniable/ Unconditional/ You are to me undoubtedly Infinity/ And oh so beautiful/ Irreplaceable/ Unforgettable/ Eternally/ Unmistakable, all merciful/ Oh how you love me, Lord…” sings Rita Springer on her sophomore release from Floodgate Records.

This is not an album that requires a review. Who doesn’t already know Rita’s incredible vocal prowess from such songs as “You Are Still Holy” and “Make Us A Prayer”? Is there anyone out there who has yet to be wowed by Rita’s reverent songs “Mansion” or “Too Deep For Words”? Are there really those who call themselves lovers of great worship music who aren’t familiar with Rita’s stunning gift for bringing people the throne of God in reverent awe and worship?

Well, if you’re still reading this, then maybe you are one of the few who still need to read about Rita Springer before you make up your mind. But, trust me, hearing her is so much more effective than reading about her.

From the delicate whisper of intimacy to the thunderous shout of ragged surrender, Rita’s vocal range is displayed here in all it’s dynamic strength and boundless devotion. Whether she’s softly emoting “For the voice of the Shepherd I will follow/ The hand of my friend I will take/ The hem of your garments I will kiss, Lord/ For all my days” (“For All My Days”), or crying out on her knees “You are all I have/ All I have is you/ You are all I am/ All I am is you..” (“Created To Worship”), there is never a doubt that Rita is completely in love with Her Savior and giving nothing but the very best of what she has to worship Him.

I could go on and about the exceptional production qualities of this CD, the “who’s-who” list of top name studio talent that accompanies Rita, and the exquisite packaging of the project, but everyone already knows that the only thing that really matters is the worship that’s waiting to be heard. Trust me, there is almost no one who does it better than Rita Springer. But, you didn’t need a review to know that, did you?
