There are those who are familiar enough with the history of Vineyard Music to know that many of the movement’s greatest songwriters hail from the Great White North. In fact, the Canadian influence on the songs of The Vineyard have had a much larger and longer-running impact than those of the more recent UK infusion. One could even make a case that it was the influence of a Canadian worship leader, (Brian Doerksen), that nurtured the seed of new worship coming out of the UK Vineyard now. But, I’m getting ahead of myself.

Much like recent “Best Of” collections of worship from VMG like the “Change My Heart Oh God” series, this collection of Canadian worship songs compiles what could arguably be the very best Vineyard songwriters North of the U.S.A. Combining the songs of Brian Doerksen, Andy Park, Daphne Rademaker, David Ruis and Dan Wilt, Brian Thiessen, Graham Ord, Rik Leaf and even Ron Wilding of “The Wildings,” this CD is a great place to sample some of the very best worship that Canada has to offer.

Taking the best songs from previous VMG releases like “Winds Of Worship 15,” “Believe,” “All I Need,” and “The Mystery,” this CD brings together a wealth of great songs all in one single package. With songs like “Will You Worship,” “I Believe,” “All I Need,” “Every Move I Make,” and of course, “Change Me On The Inside” the list of songs here is made of some of the best these songwriters have put to music. If you’ve ever wondered if you’d enjoy some of the more recent releases from the Canadian songwriters of Vineyard Music Group, this collection is a great place to sample some of the best found on those recordings.
